Duties of a Director vs Duties of a Teacher
A Director's job is very much more complicated than a teacher. A Director is required to act in genuine interest of the company's interest at all times. The Director shouild always show honesty, Care, and diligence while making company decisions. A Director should avoid positions were his or her personal interest may be in conflict with his duty. A Directors primary position is to take care of the staff, make sure the budget is right, make sure all the children are getting what they need and most important is making sure all their parents are satisfied with their service. Now a teacher deals directly with the children and parents on a regular basis. Teachers interact with their students daily and they make schedules of all the activities that the children would be working on. ( lesson Planning) teachers main goal is to make sure the children are getting what is needed daily. Teachers focus mainly on children and the Director focuses mainly on the staff and the budget.

Hi! Ishimina I disagree a little with you a Director does wear alot of hats! but so does the Teacher. The director job is not any more complicated than a Teachers job they both wear alot of hats! They make some of the same decisions and they do some of the same thing just might be a different title. The only different I can really see is the degree that you get for your title.
ReplyDeleteHi Ishiminia,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that the director’s job is harder than a teacher's job. The most difficult part of it is when a director has to hire staff and balance the budget. I had the chance to hire staff in the past and i made bad decisions. I hired people that were not suitable for the job and I had to work with those people for long time. And budgeting is a very difficult task, since you are 100% responsible for it and in case the budget is short for a project everybody will think that you do not know your work.
